After providing the Monroe Mayoral candidates an opportunity to respond in writing to the pressing concerns of Monroe citizens, Seeds of Liberty staff members invited the only respondent to an evening vetting session.  Robert Zimmerman answered tough questions regarding his vision for the city of Monroe, his approach to addressing the sluggish Monroe business climate, his plans for building community, and his leadership style and skill set.  The candidate also addressed controversies reported in local media, and his political philosophy.

Consequently, Seeds of Liberty enthusiastically endorses Robert Zimmerman for Mayor of the City of Monroe.  We found his positions consistent with ours in matters concerning fiscal responsibility, service to the community, and the proper role of government.  Equally important, Zimmerman satisfies our desire for an ethical, conscientious and hard-working public service with impressive leadership and business skills.

True to our mission statement to support elected leaders who embody core Constitutional and conservative principles, Seeds of Liberty will support Zimmerman by holding several sign waving events, and encouraging its membership to participate in any way they can.
